Treatable Traits Launch Night Presentations
April 29th we celebrated the launch of The Centre of Excellence in Treatable Traits. Throughout the presentations Directors, Professor Vanessa McDonald and Conjoint Professor Peter Gibson along with Chief Investigator Professor Ian Pavord, explore the necessity of Treatable Traits and how we plan to implement this novel management of chronic airway disease.
Treatable Traits: Asthma in Pregnancy
Women with asthma are at increased risk of poor pregnancy outcomes, including preterm birth, low birth weight, caesarean section, gestational diabetes and neonatal hospitalisation, among others. Watch Professor Vanessa McDonald, Professor Michael Peek and Dr Vanessa Murphy discuss how the treatable traits approach can be applied to asthma in pregnancy.
