Background
Conjoint Associate Professor Anne Vertigan has worked for Hunter New England Health, Australia, for the past 29 years with clinical roles in speech pathology involving the treatment and management of chronic cough, voice disorders and dysphagia. She is also a clinician-researcher with a strong focus on translational research and is a member of the Chest Expert Cough Panel and the Cough In Children and Adults: Diagnosis and Assessment (CICADA) working group. Anne has conducted several research projects regarding chronic cough and upper airway disorders and has published over 54 articles in this area.
