Parliamentary launch of the National Asthma Research Agenda
Recently Centre Director Prof Vanessa McDonald attended the parliamentary launch of the National Asthma Research agenda. This work was commissioned by Asthma Australia and was led by Centre Co-director Professor Peter Gibson as the senior researcher, and first author and Dr Eleanor Majellano. The Centre of was a project ambassador for this important work addressing a recommendation made in the 2018 National Asthma Strategy, which called for the development of a national asthma research agenda to help “focus, coordinate and translate quality health research into policy and practice.”
