Last week we were fortunate enough to have our Centre collaborators from Monash University and Asthma Australia join us for a face-to-face meeting in Newcastle. The purpose of the meeting was to workshop ways to reduce unnecessary oral corticosteroid use in people with asthma. Lots of innovative ideas were exchanged including policy changes and public messaging campaigns. To top off what was a productive meeting, our colleagues from the Asthma and Breathing Programme and the Hunter Medical Research Institute joined us for a networking lunch. Watch this space!
